Title
Indian Boarding Schools Lesson 3 Lesson Plan
Subject
We Are Still Here
Description
Lesson 3 builds on Lesson 2 in that it is a continuation of the case study of the Carlisle Indian Industrial School, the first FIB. Whereas in Lesson 2 we compared the history of the school, the culture of America at the time Carlisle was established, the composition of the students and the mind sets of Carlisle’s white American citizens to the same components of our own school, now we will do an in-depth evaluation and analysis of the actual experiences of the students using primary and secondary sources.
