Unit Plan

This unit will look at the chronology of key treaties, acts, and legislation that has occurred amongst agencies of the United States Government and Native Americans. Students will look for common themes within these negotiations and be able to decipher if the relationship between US Government Agencies and Native Americans is abhorred by a history of manipulation. Students will see this visible effects by examining the relationship between the two in the present day.
